We tried to find the cause of global warming for years. We kept on looking for things that might cause it and for facts that would serve as a good excuse but the evidence keeps on showing up. No matter how we deny it, the number one cause of global warming is us. We are what make the planet degrade day after day and if we don't address the matter and accept it in all its urgency then we might be facing the end after all. We must all be aware of the actions that we are making. We might not think that it's significant as of the moment but let's not wait for the damage to be irreversible.
What are these human activities that cause global warming? We humans have millions of activities going on every single day and even if we use common sense, it's very difficult to point it out. However, because of years of research and tests, scientists have concluded that the following things are the major cause of global warming in this planet:
1. Fossil - Based Fuel - the most common energy source in the planet comes from fossils. These are extracted from the ground are processed to become fuel. The process that goes with it produces a byproduct. This byproduct is composed of different dangerous gases which are containing carbon and is also carcinogenic. Carcinogens are known causes of cancer but that is not the point here. These carbon gases are blown up in the air, mixing with the gases that are already present in the atmosphere. These gases amplify the ability of the planet to lock in the heat which is supposed to keep living things in this planet alive. Because of that, the temperature rises to abnormal levels. This is what causes all the freak changes in the planet's normal function.
2. Human Electricity Consumption - we are dependent to electricity. It's like an addiction; everything falls apart if we take it away. However, the more we use electricity, the more it is required for fossil - based power plants to burn more fuel. We can't possible just stop using electricity but there is alternatives that we could use in terms of power production.
3. Air Pollution from Vehicles and Machinery - as well all know, vehicles are powered by fuel (gasoline, diesel etc.). This fuel is extracted from fossils and the more we use it, the more it pollutes the air.
The solution to all of these problems is to find alternatives to fossil fuel and right now we have lots of options available for us. All we have to do is to implement it in a global scale.
